UnicornDAO

UnicornDAO is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) dedicated to fostering gender equity in the digital art and blockchain space. Launched in 2022 by Nadya Tolokonnikova, a founding member of Pussy Riot, the collective aims to counteract the gender disparities within Web3 by acquiring and promoting NFTs created by women-identifying and LGBTQ+ artists. Through fundraising, advocacy, and the curation of digital art, UnicornDAO empowers underrepresented creators to access resources and financial opportunities within the crypto ecosystem.

Beyond NFT acquisitions, UnicornDAO builds community-driven initiatives that challenge systemic inequalities in the art and tech industries. The organization collaborates with artists, activists, and technologists to develop projects that highlight social justice issues while leveraging blockchain technology for radical redistribution of wealth. By combining decentralized governance with collective action, UnicornDAO reimagines financial and artistic empowerment in a digital-first world.
