Tomorrow Girls Troop
Tomorrow Girls Troop is a social art group that launched on the internet in 2015. It consists of 4th-wave feminists of diverse genders and cultural backgrounds. Gender refers to one’s identity that is socially and culturally created as opposed to one’s biological sex. A feminist is someone who believes in equality of all genders. Our art activism uses art to take action towards gender equality. We work to tackle social issues through various projects like performances, videos, photography, graphics, and writing. Focusing on feminism for the younger generation of East Asians, we aim to make society more equal and a better life for everyone.

Against Forgetting
The Against Forgettting project pays tribute to “comfort women,” the hundreds of thousands of women who were forced into sexual slavery by Imperial Japan between 1932 and 1945, as well as to bring awareness to contemporary issues surrounding war and sexual violence worldwide while condemning the government officials who refuse to recognize these crimes. The Project is ongoing and has featured artistic performances in Los Angeles, Seoul and Tokyo aimed at remembering/acknowledging comfort women.
