Te Hā Tangata

Te Hā Tangata – The breath of the People – is a collaboration between Wellington’s homeless community, Te Puaroha Compassion Soup Kitchen, Massey University, and Kahungunu Whānau Services. It has resulted in a book, a documentary film, and an award-winning play. It continues to run in the form of a writing group at the Soup Kitchen for people who are housing deprived to write about their experiences with support from Massey University creative writing staff.
