Featured Project

Return of Looted Artifacts
In 2024, REGARTLESS launched a project to return looted artifacts to the Lebang community in Cameroon. This initiative marked a significant step in restoring Africa’s cultural heritage and reclaiming legacies displaced during colonialism.

REGARTLESS collaborated with local authorities and the Lebang Cultural and Development Association to return sacred objects of deep cultural and spiritual significance. These artifacts, taken by colonial forces and housed in European museums, are central to Lebang’s identity.

The project is part of REGARTLESS’s mission to restore African history, amplify indigenous knowledge, and reconnect communities with their heritage. By engaging at the grassroots level, the initiative revived lost traditions and fostered pride within the community.

This effort reflects REGARTLESS’s commitment to challenging cultural imbalances and supporting the return of African artifacts to their rightful homes.
