Museo Itinerante por la Memoria

An alternative and independent museum project that began in 2009 in Lima, Peru. The project aims to preserve the memory of the country’s recent history of violence through art, using an intercultural and interdisciplinary approach. As a mobile museum, it operates in public spaces and exhibits artworks that address the period of political violence (1980-2000), its causes, and its ongoing impact. Through these artistic expressions, the project seeks to raise awareness and promote dialogue about the diverse memories of political violence and the defense of human rights.
