Design Studio for Social Intervention
The Design Studio for Social Intervention (DS4SI) is a creative research and development organization dedicated to enhancing civil society and everyday life.
Situated at the intersections of design, social justice, activism, and public art, DS4SI collaborates with communities, artists, and social justice practitioners to envision and enact interventions that promote justice and vibrancy.
Through a blend of design thinking, social practice, and civic engagement, DS4SI designs and tests social interventions with marginalized populations to address controversies and enhance ways of life.
Comprised of a diverse group of activists, artists, academics, and designers, DS4SI offers art commissions, residencies, and creativity labs, fostering transformative processes for organizations, coalitions, and campaigns.
