Anti-War Coalition

Antiwarcoaltion.art is an open online platform that collects, shares and distributes statements against war created by artists from all over the world. Driven by the Russian aggression and war against Ukraine, this platform presents an opportunity to protest against war, dictatorship, and authoritarianism. It is an opportunity to express solidarity with those in Ukraine who are affected by the Russian military aggression, and with those resisting colonial, patriarchal, imperialistic, and political repressions and terror elsewhere.

The International Coalition of Cultural Workers in Solidarity with Ukraine is a very different organization that is an online platform that is meant for sharing artistically based anti-war statements specifically inspired by the war in Ukraine. Started by the Belarusian activist and cultural worker group Ambasada Kultury. They use all different forms of art, and because it is an online platform there is a lot of digital art with many artists. Their activism is primarily done through discourse and civic engagement and art is an awareness-raising tool. Their activism specifically anti-war, dictatorship against authoritarianism, colonialism, and imperialism, is the main driver of this platform.
