Democrasexy
DemocraSexy is an initiative led by Becky Bullard that aims to make civic engagement more accessible and enjoyable by combining creativity, activism, and community-driven efforts. Born out of her transition from “slacktivist to activist” after the 2016 election, DemocraSexy leverages the power of storytelling, whimsical activism, and pleasure-based advocacy to engage individuals in political action. The platform encourages people to participate in democracy in fun, meaningful ways, using strategies like “pleasure activism” and progressive, creative outreach to inspire change.
